About the job Network Engineering II
Education: Bachelor of Science degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or a Mathematics - intensive discipline or an applicable technical training certificate from an accredited training institution.
Minimum/General Experience: Minimum of five years experience managing or leading large scale network engineering and IT modernization efforts, to include two years of specialized experience related to the task.
Duties: Develop technical and strategic guidance, planning, and innovative approaches to complex network modernization and optimization efforts. Responsible for the planning, modeling, simulation, design, installation, maintenance, management and coordination of network engineering efforts. Utilizes software and hardware tools to identify, diagnoses, and rectify complex network events, incidents, and/or problems.
Certifications or Training: CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+ required.
Clearance: Secret clearance required.
