Description:
To open / refurbish stores within the required timeframes and within budgetary constraints. Managing all sub contractors and Service Providers.
Requirement:
Minimum Grade 12 or NQF level 6
Minimum 5 (five) years’ experience in same position
Ability to communicate in English
Numeric Skills
Project Management related qualification
Must be able to work under pressure
Must have attention to detail
Must be computer literate (AutoCAD / MS Projects/ MS Power Point/ SAP)
Willing to travel extensively

Store Feasibilities – Store Refurbishments
Detail site survey and technical report:
List all capital expenditure items with Divisional Manager and Store Manager
Discuss and list all issues/constraints related to property with Divisional Manager and Store Manager
Store layout (Racking and building) to standard and specifications
Detail project scope of work
Estimating and cost planning (Building works)
Compile complete capital expenditure cost for the projects
Prepare Power point slides presentation to be presented to board of directors:
Existing store layout
Proposed store layout
Building works cost
Racking cost
Forward the above presentation pack to Financial Manager for final presentation to Board of Director focus meeting and approvals
Store Feasibilities – Store New / Relocation
Compile capital expenditure cost for the projects (Shop fitting)
Forward above capital expenditure cost to Divisional Manager and Financial Manager for final presentation to Board of Director focus meeting and approvals
Approved project study
Receive lease agreement and draw up project pack
Receive board resolution and facilitate in loading of project to SAP project system

Distribute project plan to all project stakeholders
Project Procurement – Store Refurbishment
Prepare detailed scope of work for contractors and sub-contractors
Prepare Bills of Quantities for the contractors, builders work is broken into operations/ trades and provision is made for separate pricing
Obtaining tenders through competitive tendering and producing reports
Obtaining external professional consultants and recommendations for their advises
Advising on suitable contractors, sub-contractors, and suppliers
Tender recommendation, adjudication, awarding arrangement of the signing of formal contract and resources procurement
Advising contractors, sub-contractors and supplier on project time line and project completion date

Prepare and manage Art@Heart initiative for new and refurbished stores
Prepare and manage programme for the opening day
