Description:
Scheduling and Monitoring on fleet maintenance
Requirement:
- NQF 4 or Grade 12 qualification with 1-2 years’ work-related experience.
- Deadline driven.
- Work under pressure.
- Attention to detail/accuracy.
- Computer literacy (Basic Microsoft Office Suite Skills)
- Workshop/fleet related experience would be advantageous
Key Deliverables:
- Managing vendor relations
- Maintaining accurate records
- Optimizing vehicle performance to reduce costs
Key Performance Area :
Maintenance Scheduling
- Plan, track, and schedule preventive maintenance, repairs, and inspections for all forklifts to ensure maximum uptime
- Update and maintain repairs and maintenance schedule.
- Identify any unscheduled repair requests on daily fleet checklists from stores.
Administration
Act as the liaison between stores, vendors, and management.
- Create, coordinate, and follow up of all open jobs/orders between company and workshops/vendors including updating stores.
- Submit fleet expenditure request form for approval.
Monitoring and Reporting
- Monitor daily repairs and maintenance
- Escalate negligence to the relevant Divisional Mnager
Vendor Management
- Coordinate with external service providers for repairs and maintenance
- Obtain competitive quotes for out of maintenance services/contracts
Ad hoc
- Ad hoc duties to be completed if and when required by management
