Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the strategy, growth, and overall direction of the Tax Advisory practice.
  • Build, manage, and mentor a high-performing tax team, ensuring consistent delivery of quality work.
  • Strengthen the team's technical expertise and ensure adherence to both local and international tax regulations, including frameworks such as FATCA, CRS, DAC, ATAD, Transfer Pricing, and Pillar 2.
  • Deliver high-level tax advisory services to a broad client base, including corporates, multinational groups, and high-net-worth individuals.
  • Analyze complex tax matters and provide practical, commercially viable solutions.
  • Act as a representative of the firm at industry events, enhancing visibility and credibility in the market.
  • Design and implement internal tax processes, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities aligned with the firm's growth strategy.
  • Work closely with internal teams and stakeholders to broaden service offerings.
  • Prepare and present proposals and pitches to prospective clients.
  • Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients and partners.
  • Stay informed on regulatory developments and market trends to support innovation and business expansion.

Candidate Profile

  • Qualified accountant or tax professional with at least 5 years of experience in taxation.
  • A professional tax qualification is advantageous; candidates without one should demonstrate strong technical expertise and a willingness to obtain certification.
  • Proven leadership experience, ideally in building or managing a function or business unit.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Commercially minded with the ability to identify opportunities and drive growth.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools and CRM/business development platforms.
