General Responsibilities

As part of the International Tax and Transaction Services team, you will have the opportunity to work on both ordinary and extraordinary international tax matters, with a strong focus on transactions tax in the Real Assets sector. With the support of experienced professionals, your responsibilities include:

  • Assisting clients in understanding the tax implications of extraordinary transactions, including acquisitions, divestitures, refinancings, restructurings, and IPOs.

  • Providing structuring advice, tax due diligence, and fiscal modeling to support clients in complex transactions.

  • Delivering deal structuring tax consultancy, covering both national and international structures for acquisitions and disposals.

  • Conducting acquisition and vendor tax due diligence to identify and analyze potential tax liabilities, risks, and assets in M&A transactions.

  • Supporting the preparation and/or review of tax modeling tools to optimize tax components of periodic cash flows for investors.

  • Advising on the capital agenda, including the tax aspects of capital structures, financing, and restructuring operations.

  • Assisting in the drafting of agreements between parties in transaction contexts.

  • Engaging in preliminary analysis of tax liabilities for acquired or sold companies.

  • Contributing to client deliverables with high-quality analysis and well-structured recommendations.

Qualifications

  • Degree or Master’s Degree in Economics or Law.

  • Strong knowledge of Tax Law (national and international).

  • Excellent written and spoken English.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Ability to work effectively in a team, with strong problem-solving orientation.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.

  • Curiosity, analytical mindset, and willingness to learn.


Additional requirements for Senior level:

  • 2-5 years of experience in international tax consultancy and/or transaction tax operations.

  • Prior exposure to the Real Assets sector is a plus.

  • Experience handling tax due diligence, structuring, and modeling.

  • Strong client management and project coordination skills.

  • Completion (or in-progress) of a professional training course in tax or related fields is desirable.
