Position: Mid-Senior Level Employment Attorney

Contract Details: Full time

Mid-sized firm outside of Boston is seeking a highly experienced and skilled Mid-Senior Level Employment Attorney to join their dynamic team.This is the opportunity to join a team focused on employer-side counseling as well as litigation.

Responsibilities:

- Provide legal advice and guidance to employer clients on various employment law matters, including but not limited to discrimination, harassment, wage and hour laws, and employee benefits

- Conduct legal research and draft legal documents, including contracts, policies, and agreements

- Represent clients in employment-related litigation, including mediation, arbitration, and court proceedings

- Keep up-to-date with changes in employment laws and regulations and advise clients accordingly

- Collaborate with other attorneys and team members to develop strategies and solutions for clients

- Attend client meetings and negotiations as needed

- Provide training and guidance to junior attorneys and support staff

- Maintain accurate and organized case files and records

- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and other legal professionals

Requirements:

- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school

- Active membership in the state bar and in good standing

- At least 5-7 years of experience practicing employment law, with a focus on representing employers

- Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws, regulations, and court procedures

- Excellent oral and written communication skills

- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks and deadlines

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Proven track record of successfully handling complex employment law matters

- Experience with alternative dispute resolution and litigation

- Strong negotiation and advocacy skills

- Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and colleagues

- Proficiency in legal research and drafting legal documents

- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
