Role Overview

We are seeking a senior SAP EWM / PP Functional Consultant to support a post-go-live S/4HANA environment for a client in the arms and defense sector. The project went live in August and is now in a stabilization and adoption phase.

This role is highly user-facing. The primary focus is on coaching, enablement, and ownership transfer to business users, alongside targeted functional support and light enhancements.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide post-go-live functional support for SAP EWM, with close integration to Production Planning (PP)
  
• Act as a trusted functional advisor to key users and end users, focusing on:
  
  • User adoption
    
  • Process understanding
    
  • Day-to-day operational confidence
• Coach users to take ownership of the SAP solution rather than creating dependency
  
• Support stabilization activities, including:
  
  • Issue resolution in a live production environment
    
  • Data cleanup, restructuring, and updates (especially production and planning-related data)
• Identify and implement minor enhancements and process improvements
  
• Translate business issues into clear, practical SAP-functional solutions
  
• Work closely on-site with business and IT stakeholders
  

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong hands-on experience with SAP EWM in S/4HANA environments
  
• Solid functional understanding of SAP PP and EWM–PP integration
  
• Proven experience in post-go-live / hypercare / stabilization phases
  
• Excellent soft skills: communication, coaching, and user enablement are critical
  
• Comfortable working in a highly regulated industry (arms & defense)
  
• Able and willing to work on-site 4–5 days per week in Columbia, SC
