Senior Cloud Architect

• Riyadh, Saudi Arabia | On-site (Full-Time)

• Arabic Speaking Preferred

The Opportunity

We are looking for a Senior Cloud Architect to lead the design and execution of

enterprise cloud strategy within a large-scale organisation in Riyadh.

This is a high-impact, on-site role where you will work closely with business and

technology leadership to shape cloud adoption across mission-critical systems.

Given the nature of stakeholder engagement, Arabic language capability is strongly

preferred.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

Cloud Strategy & Architecture

• Define and drive enterprise cloud strategy across AWS, Azure, and/or GCP

• Design secure, scalable, and highly available cloud architectures

• Lead adoption of cloud-native and modern engineering practices

Solution Design & Delivery

• Architect end-to-end solutions across multi-cloud and hybrid environments

• Design distributed, multi-tier applications at scale

Ensure performance, resilience, and cost efficiency

Governance & Security
• Establish cloud governance, architecture standards, and best practices
• Ensure compliance with security and regulatory requirements
• Act as the technical authority across all cloud initiatives
Stakeholder Management
• Engage with senior business and technology stakeholders
• Translate business needs into scalable cloud solutions
• Guide engineering and DevOps teams throughout delivery
What We’re Looking For
• Proven experience as a Cloud Architect in enterprise environments
• Strong expertise in AWS, Azure, or GCP (multi-cloud highly desirable)
• Deep knowledge of cloud architecture patterns, microservices, and
distributed systems
• Experience designing hybrid and multi-cloud solutions
• Strong understanding of cloud security, networking, and governance
frameworks
• Background in software engineering or system design
• Ability to work on-site in Riyadh full-time
Preferred
• Arabic speaking (highly preferred due to stakeholder interaction)
• Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP Architect level)
• Experience with DevOps, CI/CD, Terraform, Kubernetes
• Experience within large enterprise or government environments
