We are actively recruiting dedicated and articulate individuals to join our team in Lisbon as a German-Speaking Multilingual Support Specialist. This pivotal role involves providing exceptional technical assistance and ensuring customer satisfaction for users of our premier search engine platform across German-speaking markets.

Core Duties and Responsibilities

This position requires you to be the primary communicator for our German-speaking clientele, handling inquiries and technical challenges related to the search engine. Your daily tasks will include:

  • Delivering Expert Support: Providing responsive and professional technical help to users through various channels (phone calls, email correspondence, and online chat).
  • Diagnosing Issues: Efficiently identifying the root cause of user problems, which may range from basic troubleshooting to addressing specific platform features and account access difficulties.
  • Offering Solutions: Guiding users step-by-step through resolutions, software adjustments, and optimal utilization of the product’s capabilities.
  • Maintaining Records: Diligently logging all customer interactions, reported issues, and the corresponding solutions within our database for future reference and knowledge sharing.
  • Collaborative Escalation: Recognizing and appropriately transferring complex or unresolved technical incidents to specialized internal teams for advanced investigation and resolution.
  • Product Mastery: Continuously developing and maintaining deep operational knowledge of the search engine and its evolving functionalities.

Applicant Profile

Essential Requirements

  • Language Fluency: Native or near-native level German (C1/C2) is absolutely essential for seamless communication with our users. A minimum of B2 level English is required for internal operations and training purposes.
  • Authorization to Work: Applicants must possess valid documentation permitting employment in Portugal, such as an EU Citizenship/Passport, a current Residency Card (valid for over one year), or a Refugee Card.

Beneficial Experience

  • While prior experience in customer service, helpdesk, or technical support is beneficial, it is not a prerequisite. We welcome enthusiastic candidates ready to learn, and we will provide comprehensive training.
  • A natural inclination towards technology and effective analytical skills are highly valued.
