We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our international team in Lisbon as a German-Speaking Technical Support Specialist. You will be the primary point of contact for our German-speaking user base, providing high-quality technical assistance and ensuring a seamless experience with our leading search engine platform.

Key Responsibilities

  • Front-Line Technical Support: Serve as the first point of contact for German-speaking users, providing professional and timely technical support via phone, email, and chat.
  • Troubleshooting and Resolution: Diagnose and resolve technical and account-related issues on our search engine platform, including but not limited to, login problems, general usage queries, and basic software/system troubleshooting.
  • Customer Guidance: Guide users through step-by-step solutions, product configurations, and feature usage in a clear and easy-to-understand manner.
  • Documentation: Accurately document all customer interactions, technical issues, and resolutions in the internal ticketing system to maintain a comprehensive knowledge base.
  • Issue Escalation: Identify and escalate complex or unresolved issues to the appropriate senior technical teams for advanced support when necessary.
  • Product Knowledge: Maintain a high level of expertise regarding the search engine's features, updates, and technical specifications.

Requirements

Must-Have Qualifications

  • Language Proficiency:

    • Fluent German (C1/C2 level) is mandatory, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • English proficiency at B2 level is required for internal communication, training, and system documentation.
  • Work Eligibility: Candidates must hold one of the following valid documents:

    • EU Citizenship/Passport
    • Valid Residency Card for Portugal (valid for more than one year)
    • Refugee Card

Good-to-Have Skills

  • Previous experience in a Technical Support, Customer Service, or Call Center environment is a plus, but not mandatory. Full, paid training will be provided.
  • A strong affinity for technology and a willingness to learn new software and systems quickly.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a proactive approach.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a customer-centric attitude.

Compensation & Working Conditions

  • Contract: Full-Time, On-Site position in Lisbon.
  • Working Hours (Rotational Shifts):

    • Monday to Friday: 08:00 AM to 08:00 PM
    • Saturday and Sunday: 08:00 AM to 05:00 PM
    • Days Off: 2 rotational days off per week.
