Role Overview

  • We are looking for a German-speaking YouTube Policy Support Specialist to join an on-site Customer Support & Trust & Safety team. In this role, you will support YouTube partners and users by reviewing policy-related cases, assisting with account and content concerns, and ensuring platform standards are respected.
  • You will act as a key point of contact between creators and the platform, helping maintain a safe and compliant digital environment.
  • No prior experience is required — full training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and handle YouTube policy and support cases
  • Assist creators and users with account and content-related inquiries
  • Apply platform policies to moderation and support decisions
  • Escalate complex cases to internal policy teams when needed
  • Deliver high-quality customer support via digital channels
  • Maintain accuracy and consistency in case handling
  • Contribute to a safe and trusted online ecosystem

Requirements

  • Fluent German (C1/C2)
  • Good English communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and decision-making ability
  • Comfortable working with sensitive online content
  • Team-oriented with a customer-focused mindset with or without previous experience

Salary

  • Base salary (no experience): €14,000/year
  • Possible signing bonus: €2,000 – €2,500
