ASSISTANT OSH MANAGER
About the job ASSISTANT OSH MANAGER
Responsibilities: To support the implementation and monitoring of company-wide Occupational Safety, Health (OSH), and Security programs; to supervise the OSH and Security teams to ensure regulatory compliance, safety performance, and protection of people and assets; and to promote a proactive culture of safety across all operational sites.
- Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Safety and Health, Environmental Health and Safety, Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years in an OSH-related roles with at least 2 years of supervisory or multi-site experience, ideally in poultry /food processing or retail operations. Salary RM4.5K and above depending on the qualification and experience.
- Registered SHO or trained OSH Coordinator preferred.
- Proficiency in planning, documentation, audit / inspection readiness, and incident reporting.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.
- Strong team leadership, coordination abilities (across OSH and Security) and investigation skills for safety and security incident.
- Analytical thinking for interpreting safety trends and risk metrics.
