Job Summary

  • We are seeking a talented and driven Regional Sales Specialist (RSS) to lead our rapidly growing food service market based in New York, New Jersey and Philadelphia.
  • The successful candidate will drive our B2B initiative for Jang-based sauces.
  • Experience in managing franchise restaurant accounts is required.


Responsibilities

Sales Development & Target Achievement

  • Develop sales opportunities with mainstream foodservice accounts, with local franchises as priorities
  • Identify potential customers through market research and cultivate new business opportunities
  • Manage the complete sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals, ensuring consistent achievement of sales targets

Customer Relationship Management

  • Pursue new placement opportunities with the goal of creating incremental growth
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing food service accounts, serving as the primary point of contact for their needs and inquiries.
  • Support and promote the client through product demonstrations, trainings, targeted sampling, and end-user engagement
  • Proactively handle product-related claims to effectively address and satisfy customer needs.

Product Knowledge and Training

  • Develop a deep understanding of the clients product line (especially sauces), ingredients, and unique selling points
  • Deliver product introduction presentations to distributor sales teams, and regional restaurant chains.
  • Represent the company at trade association meetings, food shows, tradeshows, etc., to promote products


Locations

  • Based in New Jersey, New York and Philadelphia


Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelors degree in business, Food engineering, or a related field
  • 5+ years of account/sales management experience in food industry (Mid-Level), especially in food service
  • Experience in managing franchise restaurant accounts is necessary
  • Bilingual proficiency preferred: English (Proficient / Advanced) and Korean (Intermediate or lower)
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to commute to New Jersey Office, travel to manufacturing facility near Philadelphia.

Preferred

  • Experience with local and ethnic sauce categories
