Job Summary
We are hiring a Facility & Safety Manager to take ownership of the infrastructure and day-to-day safety operations of our satellite antenna manufacturing facility. This is a hands-on role supporting a high-tech manufacturing environment that includes cleanrooms, RF testing, and specialized assembly workflows. You'll be responsible for keeping our facility running smoothly, safely, and in full compliance ensuring that equipment, systems, and protocols support both operational efficiency and employee wellbeing.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Manage daily facility operations, including infrastructure systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire suppression, and security).
- Conduct routine safety checks of tools and equipment prior to shift start to ensure safe operation.
- Monitor RF testing environments and other specialized areas to ensure worker safety and regulatory compliance.
- Oversee facility-related projects and initiatives, including layout changes, equipment installations, and process improvements to support manufacturing operations
- Maintain cleanroom functionality and enforce related procedures and protocols.
- Serve as primary contact for safety matters, including incident response, hazard identification, and corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and broader environmental, health, and safety standards.
- Develop, coordinate, and manage training programs related to facility operations, safety protocols, and Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) compliance to ensure all employees are informed and prepared
- Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers, coordinating repairs, maintenance, and inspections to ensure operational continuity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support manufacturing operations and ensure safety integration into daily processes.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation of safety inspections, permits, compliance reports, and facility-related records to support audits, inspections, and regulatory reporting
- Partner with leadership to foster a proactive, safety-conscious workplace culture and help maintain a professional, well-managed facility environment
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Qualification
- 10+ years of progressive experience in facility management, including at least 7 years in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Proven ability to manage building infrastructure systems (e.g., HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire suppression, security)
- Working knowledge of OSHA regulations, workplace safety standards, and environmental compliance
- Experience performing routine safety checks on tools/equipment and responding to facility safety concerns
- Familiarity with cleanroom operations and protocols
- Expertise in EH&S principles, with a strong understanding of OSHA regulatory requirements and environmental compliance.
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently in a dynamic, high-tech environment
- Korean-English bilingual is preferred
Preferred Skills & Experience
- Experience in aerospace, defense, or high-tech manufacturing
- Direct experience supporting RF chambers, burn-in chambers, or other specialized testing environments
- Certification such as CFM (Certified Facility Manager) or FMP (Facility Management Professional)
- Background working with lean manufacturing principles or continuous improvement initiatives
- Proven project management experience, including coordinating cross-functional teams, managing timelines, and driving facility-related projects to successful completion
Physical Requirements
- Ability to walk, stand, and move throughout a large facility for extended periods
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs as needed
- Comfortable working around machinery, test equipment, and in cleanroom or controlled environments
- May be required to wear PPE, including safety glasses, gloves, and cleanroom attire
- Ability to bend, stoop, climb ladders, and access equipment in tight or elevated spaces
- Comfortable working in areas with elevated temperatures (e.g., near burn-in chambers), with appropriate protective equipment
- May be exposed to RF (radio frequency) test environments and must follow all applicable safety procedures
- Capable of performing safety and equipment checks at the start of early-morning shifts
