Position Overview:

The ideal candidate shall be fluent in both Korean and English, possess a strong business mindset, and have the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, professional environment. This role requires excellent written skills, strong attention to detail, and a solid understanding of cultural nuances and industry expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Translate a wide range of documents (emails, business communications, reports, etc.) from Korean to English and vice versa with accuracy and contextual relevance
• Provide live translation during meetings and internal discussions
• Maintain consistency, clarity, and professionalism across all translated materials
• Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support bilingual communication and project needs
• Balance speed and accuracy in all translation tasks
• Utilize computer systems and tools (Outlook, Office) to support documentation and communication
• Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP preferred) for document and data handling

Qualifications:

• Language Proficiency:
• Fluent in Korean (reading, writing, and speaking)
• Fluent in English (reading, writing, and speaking)
• Deep understanding of both languages grammar, vocabulary, and cultural nuances

Education:

• Bachelors degree in Languages, Linguistics, Translation Studies, or a related field
• Professional translation certification (e.g., ATA) preferred but not required

Experience:

• Experience in translation or bilingual roles, especially within specialized industries such as legal, medical, or technical fields
• Freelance or professional translation portfolio preferred
• Understanding of ERP systems (SAP knowledge is a plus)
• Must have at least minimum of 5 years over all Workforce experience
