Medical Director Physician

Central Health Management, Inc.  is seeking a board-certified internal or family medicine physician for a full time Medical Director role in post-acute care in the Richmond, Virginia area.  

This role offers flexibility of schedule, a base guarantee, RVU, Medical Director Stipend, and benefits.   A Medical Scribe is also available.

In the role, the physician will take a leadership position with oversight to the medical care provided in the facility.   Additionally, the physician will provide direct patient care including new patient admissions, rounding, recertifications and discharges.  Additional responsibilities in reviewing and implementing medical protocols and policies on an annual basis or as requested by the facility administration.

To qualify for this opportunity, you will have the following:

• MD/DO from an accredited Medical University.
• Board Certification in Internal or Family Medicine in active status
• Medical license to practice in Virginia which is active and unencumbered
• DEA license to prescribe in Virginia which is active
• Direct patient care experience, preferably in post-acute care
• Exceptional Communication and Collaboration skills
• Proficiency in diagnosis, treatment plans, and EMR systems
