Position Summary
CSFs EdTech team will partner with the Department of Basic Education, Government of Uttar Pradesh (Shiksha Bhawan, Lucknow) to strengthen the use of ICT infrastructure and drive high-quality digital learning across government schools. As Project Manager EdTech, you will operate as part of a Technical Support Unit (TSU) to the state, supporting strategy, procurement, implementation, and monitoring of EdTech initiatives for the K-12 system.
You will work closely with senior and working-level government officials, vendors and content partners, and CSF colleagues to (a) plan and execute digital learning programs, (b) build data-driven operating routines, and (c) ensure adoption at the last mile through teacher trainings and field feedback loops.
Key Responsibilities
- Support in the creation of procurement, allocation, and monitoring processes to maximise the impact of EdTech programmes.
- Provide inputs to the department on planning, budgeting, and procurement for future interventions in Uttar Pradesh.
- Undertake school visits and lead consultations with stakeholders to identify gaps and propose practical solutions.
- Analyse data to inform EdTech programme design, codify best practices for in-school and at-home learning, and support evidence-based decision-making.
- Develop and maintain relationships with senior/junior officers, partners, and CSF colleagues to drive execution under the team leads guidance.
- Lead mini-projects/workstreams such as infrastructure mapping, teacher enablement, content localisation, and usage monitoring.
- Support capacity building by contributing to training toolkits, blended learning routines, and consultative workshops.
- Prepare high-quality presentations, trackers, and briefs for review meetings and leadership communication.
Required Qualifications, Skills and Abilities
- Education: Bachelors degree required; Masters in education/management/public policy/technology/social sciences preferred.
- Experience: 2 to 5 years in program or project management in government, education, social impact, or tech-enabled initiatives; experience with multi-stakeholder projects is essential.
- Data Skills: Strong proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets; comfort with large-scale data analysis and interpretation. Exposure to Power BI/Tableau preferred;
- Program Skills: Proven ability to plan, prioritise, and execute; create SOPs/dashboards; run reviews; and meet deadlines with minimal oversight.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication; strong presentation skills; ability to synthesise complex information for multiple audiences.
- Languages: Hindi and English (written and spoken) are mandatory.
- Mindset: Solution-oriented, collaborative, and comfortable working in fast-paced, ambiguous settings; willingness to travel across UP.
