Quality Assurance Lead

About The Role:

As a QA Lead, you will:

• Own and drive the overall QA strategy and process across the engineering organization.
• Lead and mentor a small QA team, fostering best practices and continuous improvement.
• Design, build, and maintain automation frameworks for UI, API, and backend testing.
• Balance manual and automated testing to ensure efficient coverage.
• Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines and partner with DevOps for scalability.
• Collaborate closely with engineering and product teams to define test plans, acceptance criteria, and release readiness.
• Track and report on quality metrics, test coverage, and defect trends.

About You:

• 7+ years of QA experience and 3+ years of leadership experience
• Proven experience implementing automation frameworks and expanding automation coverage.
• Strong proficiency in modern automation tools (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright).
• Hands-on experience testing APIs (REST, GraphQL) and integrating automation into CI/CD workflows.
• Familiar with relational databases (Postgres, MySQL).
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where adaptability and initiative are essential.
