About the job Business Development Specialist (Legal) - FT - AU
We are looking for a highly motivated Business Development Specialist to support our Australian client in the legal recruitment sector. This offshore role will focus on acquiring new clients, building strong relationships, and driving sales of the clients legal recruitment services.
Experience in the Australian legal recruitment market is required. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of closing deals, excellent client-facing skills, and a deep understanding of the Australian professional services landscape.
Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute strategies to acquire new clients specifically for legal recruitment services

Identify key decision-makers in target organisations and establish strong relationships with them

Conduct discovery meetings and presentations to showcase the clients offerings

Manage the full sales cycle from initial outreach to contract agreement and onboarding

Collaborate with recruitment and operations teams to ensure a seamless delivery of services

Maintain accurate records of clients, opportunities, and pipeline activity in CRM systems

Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify new business opportunities

Meet and exceed sales targets set by the client
Required Experience & Skills

Proven business development experience preferably in legal recruitment services or legal industry in the Australian market

Strong track record of generating new business and closing deals

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

High level of integrity, professionalism, and client management skills
- Experience using CRM systems and sales tools to manage pipelines and track performance
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently from home
- LinkedIn Business Development experience (prospecting, outreach, and pipeline management)
