A labour service agency is seeking a dependable and proactive After-Hours Support specialist to provide essential operational assistance outside of regular business hours. This role is ideal for someone with a background in recruitment or workforce coordination, particularly within the labour hire space.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Phone/Email Support: Answer incoming calls/emails and respond to after-hours inquiries from clients and workers.
  • Follow-Ups: Coordinate and follow up on bookings, shift confirmations, and urgent requests.
  • Shift Bookings & Rostering: Manage and update shift rosters, handle last-minute bookings, and arrange coverage as needed.
  • Backfilling: Source and assign staff from an existing candidate pool to fill
    urgent vacancies.
  • General Inquiries: Attend to inquiries from clients and contractors regarding shifts, timesheets, and general support.
  • Compliance Support: Assist in maintaining compliance requirements as part of the agency's structure.
  • Reference Checks: Conduct reference checks if needed for new or replacement staff.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in recruitment, labour hire, or operations/rostering
    support.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work independently, especially in time-sensitive or high-pressure
    situations.
  • Must have a stable internet connection and a professional setup for taking
    phone calls.
  • Availability to work on split shifts (Melbourne time):
    5:00 PM to 11:30 PM AU time (3:00 PM to 9:30 PM PH time)
    4:30 AM to 8:30 AM AU time (2:30 AM to 6:30 AM PH time)
  • Willing to take on weekend shifts, if required.
