Client Note: The client is looking to onboard someone as soon as possible, ideally on a full-time basis, though there is some flexibility with hours. The initial engagement is expected to last 2-3 months, with potential for extension or expansion of the role into other areas within the People & Culture team, depending on performance and evolving business needs.
What you'll do
- Leverage appropriate local job boards and platforms like LinkedIn to identify and source candidates
- Review and shortlist applications received through job advertisements
- Screen all sourced and shortlisted candidates through an initial interview and/or conversation, making recommendations for those who should be progressed to interview internally with the team
- Maintain ongoing relationship with candidates throughout their interview process, updating them on our progress, providing them with feedback and ensuring they have a positive candidate experience
- Liaise with the candidate and the internal hiring team to coordinate and schedule interviews
- Record keeping of all materials used for recruitment, including interview notes and related paperwork, to share with key stakeholders
- Maintaining our recruitment-related systems to deliver a great hiring manager and candidate experience
- Build candidate pipelines for both short-term and mid-long-term hiring needs, leveraging employer branding initiatives
- Provide insights & recommendations to improve hiring efficiency, effectiveness & inclusiveness
What you'll need
- Proven product engineering recruitment experience, ideally gained in a scaling product company
- Strong knowledge of hiring software engineers in the Philippines, including hiring practices, recruiting methodologies, systems & processes.
- Organisational skills, with the ability to handle multiple roles and priorities simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and experience using recruitment/application tracking systems
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and discretion at all times, and effectively handle sensitive candidate data or information
- Proven self-starter who can work independently
