We are looking for a part-time Bookkeeper / Real Estate Admin Assistant to support the client in managing both financial records and property-related administrative tasks. This role is ideal for someone with experience in Australian bookkeeping, real estate administration, and Airbnb or property management platforms.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, including recording expenses, consolidating accounts, and reconciling transactions
- Track cash flow, loans, income, and other financial activities to ensure accurate financial reporting
- Assist with BAS/IAS preparation and compliance in line with Australian standards
- Use accounting tools such as MYOB to maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
- Provide administrative support for real estate activities, including managing property listings, coordinating documentation, and maintaining property files
- Support short-term rental operations (e.g., Airbnb) by updating calendars, communicating with guests, and coordinating basic property-related tasks
- Research and identify new property listings or investment opportunities
- Perform general administrative duties such as managing emails, updating spreadsheets, coordinating with agents or service providers, and organising digital files
- Ensure all data is accurately recorded and easily accessible for the client and team
REQUIREMENTS
- Proven experience in Australian bookkeeping (BAS/IAS familiarity required)
- Experience with accounting platforms MYOB
- Strong understanding of financial tracking, account consolidation, and expense management
- Prior experience in real estate administration or Airbnb/property management support
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and highly organised
- Able to work independently and manage priorities effectively
- Prior experience working for a taxation firm, a taxation lawyer or a taxation agent in Australia
- Experience working in a remote or virtual assistant setup
SCHEDULE
- Part-time (flexible hours, ideally across a few days per week)
- Must be available to work within Australian business hours (Perth)
