Job Summary:

We are a fast-growing digital marketing company specializing in home-services, specifically plumbing (water heater repair/replacement, drain cleaning, hydro jetting, and more). As we transition away from an expensive U.S.-based agency, we are seeking a senior, hands-on Google Ads Manager who can take full ownership of paid acquisition and scale qualified inbound calls profitably.

Responsibilities

Google Ads & LSA Management

  • Take full ownership of strategy and execution for all Google Ads and LSA campaigns
  • Build and optimize campaign structure, bidding strategy, keywords, negatives, ad copy, extensions, and experiments
  • Monitor and improve CPC, CPL, Quality Score, impression share, and call quality
  • Provide clear reasoning behind any campaign or bidding adjustments
  • Scale campaigns responsibly while maintaining efficiency
  • Efficiently manage performance across up to 15 active client accounts with varying budgets and scaling requirements

Call Tracking & Conversion Tracking

  • Set up, manage, and optimize CallRail
  • Ensure accurate call attribution and lead quality analysis
  • Configure and maintain:
    • GA4
    • Google Tag Manager (GTM)
    • Conversion tracking for calls, forms, and key actions

Landing Pages & CRO

  • Build and optimize landing pages using:
    • Unbounce
    • ClickFunnels
    • Elementor
  • Apply CRO best practices to increase lead quality and conversion rates
  • Continuously test and deploy improvements

Industry Knowledge (Plumbing Focus)

You must understand core plumbing terminology, services, and buying triggers, including:

  • Hydro jetting
  • Water heater repair & replacement
  • Sewer and drain services
  • Whole home water filtration systems

This knowledge will help you craft better campaigns, optimize keywords accurately, and improve lead quality.

Reporting & Communication

  • Build and maintain dashboards (Google Looker Studio preferred)
  • Provide:
    • Daily touchpoints with quick updates
    • Weekly performance recaps with insights and action items
    • Monthly reports showing results vs goals and scaling recommendations
  • Walk the owner through results using:
    • Google Sheets
    • Loom
    • Google Meet
  • Communicate clearly and professionally in fluent English (spoken + written)

Required Experience & Skills

  • 5+ years of hands-on Google Ads / PPC management
  • Proven experience with local lead generation
  • Expertise in:
    • Bid strategies
    • CPL control
    • CPC management
    • Conversion rate optimization
  • Experience managing and scaling accounts to $50K–$100K+ per month
  • Ability to manage 15 client accounts at varying spend levels
  • Understanding of plumbing or home-service advertising terminology (required)
  • Comfortable making recommendations while respecting final owner approval
  • Fluent English & comfortable on video calls
