Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Power Automate Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting, maintaining, and optimizing existing Microsoft Power Automate workflows while also designing and implementing new automation solutions to enhance business processes. This role requires a strong understanding of Power Automate, problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver efficient and scalable automation solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Existing Workflows:
    • Monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain existing Power Automate flows to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
    • Identify and resolve issues in current workflows, including debugging errors and optimizing performance.
    • Document existing flows, including their purpose, functionality, and dependencies.
    • Perform regular maintenance and updates to adapt to changes in business processes or system integrations.
  • Develop New Automation Solutions:
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and design new Power Automate flows to automate business processes.
    • Build, test, and deploy new workflows using Power Automate, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
    • Integrate Power Automate with other Microsoft 365 tools (e.g., SharePoint, Teams, Power Apps) and third-party applications as needed.
    • Create reusable templates and connectors to streamline future automation projects.
  • Process Optimization:
    • Analyze current business processes to identify opportunities for automation and efficiency improvements.
    • Provide recommendations for enhancing existing flows to improve performance, scalability, and user experience.
  • Collaboration and Training:
    • Work closely with business units, IT teams, and stakeholders to ensure alignment of automation solutions with organizational goals.
    • Train end-users and team members on using and managing Power Automate flows.
    • Provide documentation and user guides for developed workflows.
  • Compliance and Best Practices:
    • Ensure all Power Automate solutions comply with organizational security, governance, and data privacy policies.
    • Follow best practices for flow design, version control, and error handling to ensure robust and maintainable solutions.

Qualifications:

  • Education:
    • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience:
    • 2+ years of experience working with Microsoft Power Automate or similar automation platforms.
    • Proven experience in supporting and troubleshooting existing workflows in a production environment.
    • Hands-on experience designing and implementing new automation workflows using Power Automate.
    • Familiarity with Microsoft 365 ecosystem (e.g., SharePoint, Teams, Power Apps) and integrating Power Automate with these tools.
    • Experience with connectors, APIs, and third-party integrations is a plus.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Power Automate, including cloud flows, desktop flows, and business process flows.
    • Knowledge of Power Automate connectors, triggers, and actions.
    • Familiarity with JSON, REST APIs, and basic scripting (e.g., PowerShell or JavaScript) is a plus.
    • Understanding of process automation concepts and workflow design principles.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve issues in complex workflows.
    • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
    • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
    • Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality, maintainable solutions.
