About the job Bookkeeper
Job Summary:
Seeking a bookkeeper with exceptional data entry skills and keen attention to detail. The bookkeeper will handle various
accounting, customer service, and organizational tasks. Responsibilities include tracking and managing financial data, entering
financial transactions into multiple databases, and notifying upper management of any accounting errors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reviewing personal work for accuracy
- Verifying accounting information for correctness
- Recording all financial transactions
- Distributing reports to staff
- Reconciling accounts by balancing subsidiary accounts
- Ensuring all financial activities comply with local legal requirements
- Preparing financial reports by analyzing and summarizing account trends and data
- Entering data into CaseWare and Lacerte, including tax forms and income statements
- Proficiency with common tax preparation, word processing, and spreadsheet software (Office 365, Lacerte, QuickBooks,
CaseWare)
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of general accounting principles
- Prior bookkeeping or data entry experience is advantageous
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or relevant field experience is preferred
- Exceptional data entry skills and keen attention to detail
- Outstanding customer service abilities, including patience and adaptability
- Excellent organizational skills, encompassing time management and strategic thinking
- Capability to manage multiple projects while meeting tight deadlines
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Willing to work onsite.
- Willing to be assigned on the night shift.
