Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused individual to join our healthcare team as a Patient Services Coordinator. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for patients, responsible for answering incoming calls, addressing inquiries, and scheduling appointments in alignment with provider preferences and insurance coverage. You will manage new patient referrals, verify insurance information regularly, and ensure timely follow-up on missed appointments and voicemails. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent communication skills, a strong sense of organization, and a commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Prior experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

          Job Description
          • Answer incoming calls and accurately assess and process caller requests and inquiries.
          • Schedule patients with providers based on insurance coverage and provider preferences.
          • Coordinate and monitor new patient referrals.
          • Schedule appointments for new and follow-up patients in the clinic.
          • Call to confirm scheduled appointments the day before.
          • Review voicemails and return missed calls on the same day.
          • Verify patient insurance daily and on the 1st of every month.
          • Send inactive insurance lists to the appropriate departments.
          • Monitor emails and respond within 24 hours.
          • Follow up on missed appointments daily to reschedule.
          • Safeguard patient health information and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations.
          • Prior experience or background in healthcare is preferred.

        Qualifications:

          • College Graduate of any 4-year course (Non-Negotiable)
          • With experience Healthcare Account experience particularly in patient scheduling.
          • Good communication Skills
          • Willing to work onsite in Eastwood City and willing to be assigned in the night shift.
          • Currently residing within Metro Manila, Rizal or Bulacan
          • Okay to start ASAP

          Experience with electronic health records (EHR), scheduling software, and insurance processes is highly desirable.
        • Knowledge of HIPAA Regulations
          Understanding of patient privacy laws and ability to handle sensitive information appropriately.
        • Problem-Solving Abilities
          Proactive in resolving scheduling conflicts, missed appointments, and patient concerns.
        • Team Collaboration
          Willingness to coordinate with providers and other departments to ensure smooth patient care.
