Job Summary:

The role involves providing administrative and clinical support within a healthcare setting, primarily through the use of the electronic medical records system (Eclinical). Key responsibilities include processing prior authorizations for prescribed medications and managing both incoming and outgoing phone and fax communications. The position also requires preparing clinician charge templates in advance of appointments, verifying that outgoing referrals are complete with the necessary records and documentation, and sending out medical records as needed. Additionally, the role includes securing authorizations for requested injections and scheduling appointments for new patients.

Key Responsibilities:

          • Prior authorization for prescribed medications by working on a computer and phone.
          • Answer and manage incoming and outgoing phone and fax messages from the electronic medical records system (Eclinical).
          • Template charges for clinicians in preparation for the next day.
          • Verify that outgoing referrals include appropriate records and documents.
          • Send out medical records as needed.
          • Secure authorizations for requested injections.
          • Schedule appointments for new patients.

        Qualifications:

          • Graduate of a related course (e.g., Nursing, Medical Technology, Healthcare Administration, or other allied health fields).
          • Proficiency in using computers, including Microsoft Office applications.
          • Familiarity with electronic medical records systems (e.g., Eclinical) is an advantage.
          • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
          • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
          • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
          • Experience in obtaining prior authorizations, handling referrals, or working in a medical office setting is a plus.
          • Willing to work onsite in Eastwood Quezon City
          • Okay to work during night shift.

        Preferred Skills:

          • Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems, especially Eclinical, for managing patient data and communications.
          • Strong communication skills for handling incoming and outgoing phone and fax messages professionally.
          • Attention to detail in verifying referral documents and preparing clinician charge templates.
          • Organizational skills to manage multiple administrative tasks efficiently, such as scheduling appointments and sending medical records.
          • Knowledge of insurance and prior authorization processes, particularly for medications and medical procedures like injections.
          • Time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
          • Customer service orientation to interact effectively with patients, clinicians, and external providers.
