Duties

• Conduct thorough patient assessments and evaluations, including taking medical histories and performing physical examinations.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as laboratory tests and imaging studies.
• Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians.
• Provide patient education on health management, disease prevention, and treatment options.
• Perform medical procedures as required, including phlebotomy, catheterization, tube feeding, and other necessary interventions.
• Maintain accurate patient records using electronic health record systems like Epic.
• Participate in data collection for quality improvement initiatives and public health programs.
• Assist in managing acute and chronic medical conditions within a medical-surgical environment.

• Skills
  Proficiency in phlebotomy techniques and experience with electronic health record systems (Epic).
• Strong background in medical-surgical practices and senior care management.
• Ability to collect data effectively for clinical assessments and public health initiatives.
• Knowledge of primary care protocols and emergency medicine procedures.
• Excellent communication skills for patient interaction and interdisciplinary collaboration.
• Capability to perform advanced clinical procedures such as tube feeding and catheterization.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure in fast-paced environments.
