For our client, an IT Development and Governing company that manages and monetizes web-applications worldwide, we are looking for a Financial Accountant for a full-time, permanent employment. This position is hybrid-remotely in the office in Limassol.

The ideal candidate is detail-orientated and forward-thinking with experience in international financial operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Operational Payments Management: 
    • Manage payment cycles and execute payments across different entities and methods (SEPA, ACH, international wire transfers)
    • Ensure timely payroll execution and compliance with tax and social insurance obligations
    • Establish and manage local and international banking/EMI relationships
  • Cost Analysis & Forecasting:
    • Analyze FX costs and key expense categories using historical and current data
    • Refine and implement cost categorization frameworks and cost categories within financial systems
    • Create budgets, forecasts, and internal cost reports to guide decision-making
  • Financial Reporting & Management:
    • Create and maintain financial reporting structures in line with IFRS and ABC standards
    • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports across all entities and countries
    • Provide insights into costs, revenues, and budgets across all participating entities 
  • Audit & Compliance:
    • Lead and coordinate financial, tax, and statutory audits across multiple jurisdictions
    • Partner with auditors and regulatory bodies to ensure transparency and professionalism

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in International Finance, Payments, or Accounting
  • Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (Masters or ACCA/CPA/ACA certification beneficial)
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting frameworks 
  • Proven experience with payroll, tax compliance, and cross-border payments
  • Hands-on experience with banking systems, multi-currency transactions, and EMIs
  • Advanced Excel and financial reporting tools; ERP experience is beneficial
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and forecasting skills
  • Excellent English knowledge verbally and written; Greek language knowledge is beneficial
