Role Overview

Were looking for a highly creative and hands-on Midweight Designer & Retoucher to lead day-to-day design output and help shape the visual direction of our brand. Working across digital, print, and packaging, youll bring a strong eye for design, exceptional retouching skills, and the ability to translate ideas into standout creative that feels both elevated and expressive.

Youll take ownership of the design process and lead by example, guiding a Junior Designer and collaborating with teams across the business to deliver impactful, on-brand content. From campaign concepts to ecomm assets, youll be involved in a wide range of projects where your input and ideas will make a real difference.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a midweight designer whos confident leading small teams and wants to grow in a creatively ambitious and collaborative setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Content Design: Oversee and work on the development and execution of creative content across the website, e-mail marketing, paid and organic social media channels, print and OOH
  • Video & Motion Content: Edit and produce engaging video content for digital marketing, social media, and paid campaigns
  • Retouching: Enhance and retouch product and lifestyle imagery including colour correction, background clean-up, and texture enhancement.
  • Packaging Design: Lead the creative process for packaging design, including concept development, artwork creation, and final file preparation for production.
  • AI & Design Tools: Leverage AI-driven tools to streamline workflows, improve efficiency in retouching, and enhance the creative output of videos and graphics.
  • Brand Consistency: Ensure that all digital, print, and packaging designs reflect the brands identity and voice.
  • Collaboration & Project Management: Work closely with marketing, product, and other departments to ensure that all design and packaging projects are executed to the highest standards and within deadlines.
  • Quality Assurance: Oversee the quality control process to ensure all designs are delivered accurately and meet production standards.
  • Mentorship & Leadership: Provide guidance and leadership to junior team member, offering creative direction and support as required.

Experience and skills required

  • At least 5 years of experience in the fashion or lifestyle sector, with a strong portfolio showcasing work across digital and print marketing, packaging, and retouching.
  • Proven experience in packaging design, from concept to production, with a solid understanding of printing techniques and packaging production.
  • Strong skills in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, Premiere Pro) and other design tools.
  • Video editing experience, with a portfolio that demonstrates motion graphics, video editing for digital marketing, and social media content.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with excellent retouching skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of brand identity and maintaining visual consistency across multiple platforms.
  • Familiarity with AI design tools and automation software to enhance workflow efficiency.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally with various teams.
  • Creative thinker with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Excellent time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and digital asset management systems.

Nice to have

  • Experience in 3D packaging design and/or motion graphics.

Other:

  • 3 days per week ideally Monday, Wednesday and Thursday in our Chiswick office, London.
  • Flexible hours start 8am-10am and finish 4pm-6pm
  • Working from home days possible when work commitments allow.
  • Must have the legal right to work in the UK.
