We are currently seeking a Construction Superintendent with a strong background in medical construction to join our high-performing team. This role requires a proven leader who is proactive, organized, technically proficient, and confident managing complex, fast-paced job sites.
Key Responsibilities
As the on-site leader, you will be responsible for the overall coordination and execution of all jobsite activities. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Provide 100% on-site supervision of all phases of medical construction projects from pre-construction through closeout.
- Lead jobsite safety efforts, including signage, JSAs, inspections, and regulatory compliance (SWPPP, OSHA, etc.).
- Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, inspections, deliveries, and temporary facilities (toilets, dumpsters, traffic control).
- Conduct and document daily jobsite reports, progress photos, safety meetings, and look-ahead schedules.
- Monitor jobsite cleanliness, quality, and compliance with design intent and construction documents.
- Collaborate with project managers, design teams, and clients through progress meetings and field coordination.
- Maintain strong communication with all stakeholders, ensuring timely resolution of issues and clear documentation of changes.
- Track and report schedule performance, delays, changes, and any required RFIs.
- Ensure Procore and other construction technology tools are used effectively to maintain project documentation and performance tracking.
Qualifications
- Proven experience supervising healthcare/medical construction projects (hospitals, surgical centers, clinics, etc.)
- Proficiency with Procore and other relevant construction technology platforms
- Strong knowledge across all trades (MEP, framing, drywall, millwork, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, etc.)
- Ability to read and interpret complex construction drawings and specifications
- Track record of maintaining high safety standards, quality control, and schedule performance
- Excellent communication and leadership skills; able to manage subcontractors and collaborate with internal and external teams
- Ability to identify and resolve field challenges with a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset
- Willingness to be on-site daily and respond to client needs or emergencies as necessary
