The Accounting Manager will oversee day-to-day financial operations and help lead the charge in refining systems, streamlining processes, and supporting company growth. This is a full-time, in-office role ideal for someone with deep construction accounting experience, strong organizational skills, and the ability to balance high-level strategy with hands-on execution.

What Youll Be Doing:

  • Manage AP/AR, job costing, invoicing, and reconciliations

  • Post transactions in JobTread and QuickBooks Online

  • Lead month-end and year-end closings

  • Monitor project budgets and cash flow

  • Support audit and tax preparation with fractional controller

  • Improve and document accounting systems and workflows

  • Provide financial insights to operations and leadership

  • Supervise and support accounting staff

  • Occasionally assist with office administration tasks

What Were Looking For:

  • 5+ years of experience in accounting/bookkeeping (construction or trades preferred)

  • Strong understanding of construction office management

  • Advanced QuickBooks knowledge (Sage or similar a plus)

  • Detail-oriented with excellent time management and communication skills

  • Associate or bachelors degree in accounting, business, or related field (preferred)

  • Someone who is collaborative, confident, protective of company finances, and adaptable
