About the Role

Are you a hands-on leader who thrives in the field and enjoys solving complex technical challenges? We are seeking a Construction Manager with extensive experience in grading and drainage to oversee community-focused projects across the Greater Houston area. This is a field-driven role90% of your time will be on-site, leading crews, managing project execution, and collaborating directly with architects, owners, and stakeholders.

Our projects range from neighborhood pocket parks to large-scale recreation and amenity centers. Every project begins with raw land and transforms into a space that serves communities for decades. What You'll Do

  • Oversee construction of parks, playgrounds, recreation centers, and community spaces ($1M- $5M projects)
  • Lead in-house construction crews and selected subcontractors to ensure high-quality, efficient execution
  • Use laser levels and technical expertise to manage grading and drainage plans with accuracy
  • Visit multiple job sites daily to manage progress across projects in various stages
  • Work hands-on when needed to move projects forward and solve on-site challenges
  • Collaborate with landscape architects and owners during pre-construction meetings, approvals, and final completions
  • Ensure compliance with project plans, safety standards, and design requirements
  • Represent the company professionally with architects, owners, and municipal stakeholders

What You Bring

  • 5+ years of experience in construction, with deep knowledge of grading and drainage
  • Proficiency in reading civil and landscape construction plans (grading, elevations, drainage, concrete, utilities, specialty features)
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate crews
  • Problem-solving mindset- able to think critically and resolve challenges in the field
  • Basic computer skills with the ability to communicate professionally via email
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus, but not required
