An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a multinational engineering company within automation, covering many sectors including automotive, aerospace, space, scientific, pharmaceutical, electronics, renewable energy, and food processing. The Electronics Engineer will ideally have experience in digital and analogue circuit design. You will have the opportunity to become involved with the most relevant product development phases including circuit design, creation of specifications, schematics and design simulation.

Location: Milton Keynes 

The Hardware Engineer Role:

We are in search of an Electronic Hardware Engineer with experience in analogue and digital circuit design.
You will have the opportunity to become involved with the most relevant product development phases:

  • Circuit design
  • Creation of specifications and schematics
  • Design simulation
  • PCB layout and design
  • Testing and troubleshooting.

Additional duties will involve supporting electronic and electrical development of test and production jigs as well as providing technical product support to European subsidiaries.

The role will be within the rapidly expanding company, providing a great opportunity for growth.

Essential Requirements of the Electronics Engineer:
3+ years experience with Analogue and Digital Electronic design
Experience of circuit simulation software such as LTspice
Experience with PCB design
Ability to plan and manage own projects
Experience of writing technical reports and electronic documentation

Desirable for the Electronics Hardware Engineer:
Electrical, Electronics or Electromechanical Engineering degree at 2.1 level or higher
Experience of working for a multinational company
Strong verbal and written communication skills
European or Japanese language skills
Knowledge of standards and directives such as EMC, MD, Safety, ATEX, etc
Experience with ZUKEN / CR-8000 PCB design software
