An exciting fresh new opening for a Customer Support Advisor or Customer Service Advisor looking for a challenging career where they can develop and progress with a leading multinational engineering company.

Salary: £23,000 superb career progression available, Bonus Scheme, Annual Bonus, Excellent Pension, Private Medical Insurance, 25 days holiday, subsidised canteen and sports and social club. Hours - 37.5 hours a week - Mon - Thurs - 8.30am - 4.45pm, Fridays 8.30am - 3.30pm

We're looking for enthusiastic individuals with a desire to help people to join our clients Internal Sales Support Team. The successful candidate will have the skills to interact directly with our customers to answer questions, solve queries, provide education, minimise the risk of bad debt and maintain the company's excellent reputation for high-quality service.

Key Responsibilities of customer service advisor:
Answer incoming calls from customers providing product information, price & delivery, invoice queries, order progress and amendments.
Build rapport with customers to resolve service issues and queries and deliver outstanding service to customers
Take ownership of customer enquiries and respond to escalated customer issues in accordance with agreed procedures
Communicate professionally and regularly with leadership and peers on the status of accounts and escalations
Meet established goals for all metrics, including call quality, productivity and customer acquisition by focusing on maximising service to customers
To foster and maintain relationships with key customers to improve our retention rate and support growth
Gain understanding and knowledge with the company ERP system and processes.
Build relationships external sales engineers regarding customer requirements and offer administration support to help obtain sales growth.
Offer support in the accounts receivable process and follow the invoices in dispute procedure when required and chase outstanding debt


Skills and Experience:

Some previous experience in Customer service, forecasting, customer account management, over due debt management would be beneficial. 

A passion to deliver exceptional service to customers
Adaptable, high energy levels and desire to help others
Able to work independently in a team-oriented and fast paced environment
Good analytic and problem-solving skills
Self-directed, driven and a positive attitude
