English Teacher

We are looking for an English Teacher for an international school in Qingdao. This is a full-time position starting in February 2025.

About the schoolThis is an international boarding school based in Qingdao and is backed by its UK college. The Qingdao campus offers IGCSE/A-Level and SAT courses.

Job responsibilities

• Teach the subject of English to secondary school students utilizing the IGCSE and A-Level framework and ensuring an engaging and enriching learning experience
• Preparing lessons and lectures, tutoring techniques, designing and correcting assessments, and writing report comments
• Collaboratively teach alongside fellow educators, actively contributing to the development and enhancement of the school's curriculum
• Assess and monitor students progress and provide targets so that all learners can succeed and improve
• Provide clear and constructive feedback to students and their parents and caregivers
• Develop supportive and safe learning environments

Job requirements

• Bachelor degree or above in the related subject
• Teaching certificate
• Two or more years teaching experience in the subject
• Good understanding of teaching in British curriculum context

Salary and benefits

• Monthly salary of 25,000 to 35,000 RMB commensurate with experience and qualifications
