English Teacher

We are looking for an English Teacher for an international school in Shanghai. This is a full-time position starting in August 2025.

About the school

This school is a new high school, belongs to a famous education group, located in QingPu, Shanghai. The school creates an intelligent learning atmosphere and the International Baccalaureate (IB) and AP curriculum. It is also a member of CISA.

Job responsibilities

• Teach the subject of English to high school students utilizing the IB DP framework and ensuring an engaging and enriching learning experience
• Preparing lessons and lectures, tutoring techniques, designing and correcting assessments, and writing report comments
• Collaboratively teach alongside fellow educators, actively contributing to the development and enhancement of the school's curriculum
• Assess and monitor students progress and provide targets so that all learners can succeed and improve
• Provide clear and constructive feedback to students and their parents and caregivers
• Develop supportive and safe learning environments

Job requirements

• Bachelor degree or above in the related subject
• Teaching certificate
• Two or more years teaching experience in the subject in higher education
• Excellent communications skills
• Good understanding of teaching in IB context

Salary and benefits

• Monthly Salary 26,000 to 28,000 RMB commensurate with experience and qualifications
• Monthly housing allowance of 8,000 RMB
• Travel allowance is 2000 RMB per year
• Provide a two- year contract and completion bonus is 20,000
• International insurance is 10,000 RMB per year
