We are seeking a Principal for the Primary School division at a leading international K12 school in Chengdu. This is a full-time leadership role with an immediate start date.

Job responsibilities

• Lead the implementation of the primary school
• Promote inquiry-based learning and ensure alignment with British education standards
• Recruit, mentor, and evaluate teachers
• Foster professional growth and a collaborative work environment
• Ensure a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment
• Support the holistic development of each student
• Build strong relationships with parents and the school community
• Communicate the schools mission and values effectively
• Oversee daily operations and manage resources efficiently
• Ensure compliance with British education standards and local regulations
• Contribute to the schools strategic goals
• Integrate innovative practices and technology into the curriculum

Job requirements

• Bachelor degree or above in the related subject
• Teaching certificate
• Three or more years management experience in British primary school
• Excellent communications skills
