Science Coordinator

We are looking for a Science Coordinator for an international school in Beijing. This is a full-time position starting in August 2025.

About the school

This is an international school located in Haidian. The school offers a combination of the national curriculum and US Common core to its students in elementary and middle school, and US Common core, AP, IGCSE and A-Level in high school.

Job responsibilities

• Teach the subject of science to primary school students utilizing US Common Core and next generation science and ensuring an engaging and enriching learning experience
• Develop hands-on experiments, lab activities, and digital resources to enhance student engagement
• Support teachers in lesson planning, differentiation, and assessment strategies tailored to diverse learners
• Oversee science laboratories, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and risk assessment protocols
• Monitor student progress through data analysis, implementing interventions for underperforming students
• Stay updated on advancements in science education research and technology tools
• Prepare reports on departmental performance, student outcomes, and resource needs for leadership
• Communicate with parents about curriculum updates, student achievements, and science events

Job requirements

• Bachelor degree or above in the related subject
• Teaching certificate
• Three or more years teaching experience in the subject
• Excellent communications skills

Salary and benefits

• Annual Salary 380,000 to 480,000 RMB commensurate with experience and qualifications
