English and History Teacher

We are looking for an English Teacher for a High School based in Shanghai. This is a full-time position starting from the upcoming academic year in August 2025.

Job details

• Teach the subject of English B and history to high school students utilizing IB DP framework and ensuring an engaging and enriching learning experience
• Preparing lessons and lectures, tutoring techniques, designing and correcting assessments, and writing report comments
• Collaboratively teach alongside fellow educators, actively contributing to the development and enhancement of the school's curriculum
• Assess and monitor students progress and provide targets so that all learners can succeed and improve
• Provide clear and constructive feedback to students and their parents and caregivers
• Develop supportive and safe learning environments

Requirements

• Bachelors degree or above
• Ability to establish effective working relationships with staff students and parents
• Ability to communicate both orally and written while taking into account ESL community members
• Skilled in working with a range of students of different abilities and backgrounds
• Skilled in (or willing to learn) inquiry-based learning and differentiation

  
  

Salary and benefits

• Monthly Salary range of 20,000 RMB to 25,000 RMB commensurate with experience and qualifications
• Housing allowance is 3,000 to 4,000 RMB
• Contract completion bonus 15,000 RMB
