Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Vice President of Sales to lead a fast-growing healthcare sales organization. This executive will be both a strategic architect and a hands-on sales driver, responsible for shaping and executing sales strategies, managing a team of high-performing inside and outside sales representatives, and personally cultivating high-value client relationships.

Key Responsibilities
Market Development & Business Growth

Drive sales expansion across therapeutic areas such as Dermatology, Wound Care, Men's and Women's Health, Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT), IV Wellness, Pediatrics, Ophthalmology, Cosmeceuticals, Fertility, and Veterinary Medicine.

Build and expand partnerships with prescribers, clinics, wellness centers, and specialty practices to establish long-term recurring revenue streams.

Serve as a thought leader and market expert, leveraging competitive intelligence to refine positioning.

Develop year-over-year growth strategies and forecast revenue goals to capture greater market share.

Expand telehealth partnerships with regional and national providers.
Leadership

Recruit, mentor, and lead a high-performing sales team, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

Set clear KPIs, incentive structures, and accountability frameworks.

Collaborate with executive leadership to refine pricing, product mix, and go-to-market strategies.
Cross-Functional Collaboration

Partner with operations and clinical teams to ensure seamless onboarding and top-quality service for new accounts.

Work with marketing to design targeted campaigns, materials, and digital strategies that drive sales performance.

Provide real-time market intelligence to support product development and innovation.
Sales Execution

Personally engage and close high-value strategic accounts as a player-coach.

Model consultative, relationship-driven selling tactics for the team.

Represent the organization at conferences, trade shows, and networking events to build brand awareness and generate leads.

Analyze data and adapt strategies based on performance trends.
Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Business, Life Sciences, or related field; MBA preferred.

10+ years of progressive sales experience in pharmaceuticals, compounding pharmacy, or healthcare services.

Proven track record in leading and scaling high-performing sales teams.

Demonstrated success in building strategic client relationships and delivering individual sales results.

Strong knowledge of the healthcare and compounding pharmacy landscape, including 503A and 503B environments.

Exceptional communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
