About the job EV Charging Station Consultant
Essential Qualifications:
- MBA/M. Tech (preferably in electronics, electrical, power, energy) from a recognized university or institute having 3 years of work experience.
- Minimum 1 year of work experience in e-mobility, charging infrastructure implementation, policy formulation, transportation and urban planning.
This is a fixed-term contract job. Subject to extendable based on the project status.
Nature of the Job:
- Monthly data compilation and MIS/Database generation of Public EV Charging Stations/BCS or BSS installed and segment-wise no. of EVs registered in the State.
- Coordinate with (Public and Private) land-owning agencies to identify/verify suitable land parcels for the installation of public charging stations including BSS and BCS.
- Coordinate with various Central and State Departments like DISCOMs, Municipal Corporations, Transport Departments, and other relevant department for drafting and updating state specific e-mobility action plans for the deployment of public EV charging stations
- Coordinate with DISCOMs to seek timely electricity connectivity clearances for Public charging stations on behalf of the State Nodal Agency.
- Coordinate with Transport Department, Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and other relevant stakeholders to plan electric mobility awareness activities. This also includes developing material for awareness activities in regional languages.
- Organize and plan Webinars/Workshops/Road Shows/Other awareness activities under GO- ELECTRIC campaign.
- Carry out periodic assessments, load projections and impact of EV charging on grid under the supervision of State Nodal Agencies.
- Coordinate with the Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE) on a weekly / Fortnightly / monthly basis to update data and report progress on the development of the e-mobility ecosystem in the State. EV Cell will also provide BEE with all the necessary data related to the e-mobility ecosystem in the state.
- Consult with stakeholders to address the challenges faced by CPOs for the installation of public EV charging stations in the State.
- Act as a single point contact for information on incentives to EV users, number of charging stations installed in the State and cities within the State, EV tariff, etc. and create a repository of all information related to EV categories and charging stations in a particular State and state level policy initiatives and implementation status of various schemes, Guidelines, news, articles of importance.
- Interdepartmental coordination within the state and central agencies and departments on framing regulatory mechanisms and progressive policies to enhance the deployment of public charging stations as per directions of the State Nodal agencies.
- Facilitate ICE vehicles phasing-out plan across all vehicle segments including 2Ws, 3Ws, and 4Ws passenger cars and vans, and buses (including inter-city fleets).
- Recommend e-mobility technologies to the State Nodal agencies and assist SNAs in the implementation of technologies if so desired by the state.
- Develop model proposals/agendas/notes/write-ups/Presentations etc. related to e-mobility for the consideration of various Central / State Departments
- Carry out Energy Modeling / simulations /Mitigation Studies or any technical feasibility study required for efficient planning and implementation of Charging Infrastructure as per the requirement of the State Nodal agency.
- Setting up EV Forum possibly comprising of representatives from State Government Departments, businesses, industry associations, research organizations, think tanks, and international players will be created within the EV Accelerator Cell for facilitate the EV transition.
- The successful bidder shall assist and coordinate with WBSEDCL in the preparation of bid documents related to E-Mobility.
- Any other activities assigned by WBSEDCL related to E-Mobility.
