Key Responsibilities
The selected attorney will serve as a strategic advisor and litigator within a sophisticated practice focused on federal government contracting and national security matters.
Core responsibilities include:
- Leading bid protests before relevant administrative and judicial bodies involving major contract awards
- Conducting internal investigations related to compliance with federal procurement regulations
- Defending clients in matters involving fraud allegations and regulatory enforcement actions
- Advising on contract disputes, claims preparation, and litigation strategy
- Providing guidance on national security regulations, including cybersecurity, supply chain, and foreign investment considerations
Qualifications
Candidates should meet the following core requirements:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials
- Active U.S. bar admission, or the ability to obtain admission in a relevant jurisdiction
- 6–8 years of experience in federal government contracts law
- Strong familiarity with procurement regulations and administrative litigation processes
- Excellent analytical, writing, and advisory skills
Preferred Skills & Experience
The following qualifications are considered advantageous:
- Prior experience within a federal agency or similar governmental body
- Advanced legal education in a relevant field
- Eligibility for, or possession of, a federal security clearance
- Demonstrated leadership and team management experience
