Key Responsibilities

The selected attorney will serve as a strategic advisor and litigator within a sophisticated practice focused on federal government contracting and national security matters.

Core responsibilities include:

  • Leading bid protests before relevant administrative and judicial bodies involving major contract awards
  • Conducting internal investigations related to compliance with federal procurement regulations
  • Defending clients in matters involving fraud allegations and regulatory enforcement actions
  • Advising on contract disputes, claims preparation, and litigation strategy
  • Providing guidance on national security regulations, including cybersecurity, supply chain, and foreign investment considerations

Qualifications

Candidates should meet the following core requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials
  • Active U.S. bar admission, or the ability to obtain admission in a relevant jurisdiction
  • 6–8 years of experience in federal government contracts law
  • Strong familiarity with procurement regulations and administrative litigation processes
  • Excellent analytical, writing, and advisory skills

Preferred Skills & Experience

The following qualifications are considered advantageous:

  • Prior experience within a federal agency or similar governmental body
  • Advanced legal education in a relevant field
  • Eligibility for, or possession of, a federal security clearance
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management experience
