Responsibilities

The Employee will:

  • Manage end-to-end General Accounting processes, including sub-ledger activities, bank and balance sheet reconciliations, fixed assets accounting, journal entries, and variance analysis.
  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of Balance Sheet and P&L statements for multiple entities under Citadel Pacific Ltd. (CPL).
  • Deliver timely, accurate, and compliant Record-to-Report (R2R) services, including statutory reporting in accordance with local IFRS standards.
  • Oversee the determination and accounting of cost of sales and revenue for all products.
  • Handle inventory accounting and valuation, covering raw materials, work-in-progress (WIP), scrap, and finished goods; apply standard costing, purchase price variance, usage variance, and other costing techniques.
  • Prepare and analyze cost statements, price variance, usage variance, and provide actionable reports to stakeholders.
  • Ensure efficient and effective execution of R2R process areas, driving operational excellence.
  • Support the transformation of the Finance Organization from a locally based accounting structure to a centralized enterprise-led model with shared services.
  • Design, develop, and deliver the Record-to-Report strategy, ensuring optimal process performance for CPL.
  • Drive process-level change management, collaborating with OPCOS process owners and ICT teams to implement technology solutions.
  • Act as team lead in the absence of the designated Team Leader, ensuring continuity of operations.
  • Oversee key processes, including:
    • Corporate and Local Closing Processes
    • General Ledger Account Reconciliations and Analysis
    • Journal Entry Processing
    • Chart of Accounts Master Data Management
    • Accounting for Accruals and Provisions
    • Statutory and Corporate Reporting

    Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills

    • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in Accounts Receivable, Customer Service, Finance, Commercial Operations, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
    • Strong business acumen with in-depth knowledge of Customer Service Operations, Commercial and Sales Support, Billing, and Record-to-Report processes.
    • Proven experience in successfully leading organizational change initiatives.
    • Exceptional leadership skills, particularly in managing remote teams effectively.
    • Advanced negotiation capabilities, including the ability to represent the business in major customer negotiations and resolve complex payment or allocation issues.
    • Comprehensive knowledge of Accounting and Credit Management principles.
    • Demonstrated ability to influence and inspire teams to achieve business objectives.
    • Ability to establish credibility with internal and external stakeholders and resolve critical customer-related challenges.
    • Strong analytical and innovative thinking skills to drive process improvements.
    • Excellent presentation and communication skills for diverse audiences.
    • Thorough understanding of the Order-to-Cash process.
    • Expertise in Change Management and Project Management methodologies.
    • Well-developed coaching and mentoring skills to support team growth.
    • Strategic mindset with the ability to translate strategy into actionable business plans.
