Responsibilities:
The Employee will:
  • Responsible for all sales presentation, physical sales calls and Blitz to Customers both ONLINE and INTERLINE.
  • Interfaces with customers (Freight Forwarders) and United Principals as necessary during physical visit.
  • Arrange reservations and booking for both online and interline as well as send out booking confirmations to clients ·
  • Coordinate/Monitor issues from the OPS team (Offloaded, late docs/cargo, other issues)
  • Coordinates with our other airline partners (NH,PR,RH,5J), etc. checking available space, sending booking requests, and other concerns.
  • Coordinates with customers/clients for their needs and requirements such as destination inquiries for different commodities (Gen Freight and others) to include rates quotations and transit time.
  • Monitor shipments from origin to destination and send updates to customers
  • Prepares and submits weekly sales report and revenue performance.
  • Responsible for submitting Weekly Sales Activity Report to the Cargo Sales Supervisor/ Sr. Account Executive and/or Cargo Sales Manager of all calls done to include opportunities and itinerary for the following week and highlights of current week.
  • United Cargo 360 rate entry will be assigned to him/her (with supervision) and ensure accounting that all rates are correct vs. system and customer agreed rates.
  • Responsible for maintaining strategic key and local accounts and contributing to the formulation of strategies to produce and increase revenue from United together with the Sales Manager. (Online and interline).
  • Identify growth opportunities for market coverage and make sure that he informs the Sales Manager.
  • Coordinates and liaises with the principal of the airline represented on sales-related matters and activities.
  • Attends to meetings with the Principal of the Airlines represented (Online or F2F) as may be requested to attend trainings and conferences both locally and abroad.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in any field (required)
  • Preferably with a proven track record in sales
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong sales abilities, including prospecting, negotiation, persuasion, and closing techniques
  • Effective time management and organizational skills
