Job Overview
An airline ticketing and reservation agent is responsible for managing customer inquiries and reservations for flights.
Responsibilities
- Assists clients in providing flight quotation and other flight concerns via phone, emails or walk-ins
- Processes change of reservations when flight itineraries or original schedule are amended
- Issuance of tickets for various booking requests thru Airline Reservations system
- Assists check in counter agents at the airport during flight in handling excess baggage computation, seat upgrade and other ticket related matters
- Prepares individual Sales report, weekly availability report and daily Collection report
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Must be a Bachelor's Degree holder of 4 years course
- Willing to work in flexible hours, shift schedules and holidays
- Previous work experience in any GDS is a PLUS
- With strong communication skills, oral and written
- Willing to be assigned at the airport
