Job Purpose:

The Road Transport Executive is responsible in providing outstanding front office and back-office services to B2B customers and to internal customers as well. Promotes customer service Operational Excellence by properly implementing processes that ensure the fulfillment of the Customer Value Proposition / Customer Promise. Ensure consistent delivery of the Customer Promise (CVP/the offer) across the LPG organization for the following service providers (Bulk/Industrial Orders, Direct Commercial and Chain Accounts).

Principal Accountabilities:

· To optimize deliveries and fleet use by a proactive planning process, with a strong focus on Measurement Plan and KPIs analysis. For this purpose, it is important to identify problems, assess their cost, and seek the best possible position, and also identify and react rapidly when any deviation from objectives is observed.

· To build a strong relationship with transport contractors, to follow the execution performance and control performance quality is continuously improved.

· To proactively contribute to the perspective of getting Routing & Scheduling control.


HSSE - Operational Safety

· Maintain and Improve operational safety following every application of transport regulations and the Isla LPG HSSE policy.

· Monitor journey plans to ensure compliance with applicable legislation, in a strong relationship with the Road Transport Manager.


Delivery trip preparation:

· Manage the planning process, operates against specific time and delivery requirements, including time windows and quantity prediction.

· Determine the nature, quality, and quantity of product to be transported and of the payments to be received.

· Print out and submit delivery round sheets and delivery orders for drivers.

· Adapt the pre-planning module to take into account weather conditions.

· Perform a pre-planning analysis to monitor supply for customer using planning tools.

· Prepare delivery schedules, based on orders, gauge level identification and on first using of pre-planning.


Supervision of delivery trips:

· Provide confirmation of delivery trips (quantities, receipts, kilometers, hours etc.)

· Verify proper integration of confirmed trips to consolidate Shipment Closure process.

· Monitor divergences between quantity loaded and quantities delivered per trip, vehicle.

· Quantify and record the number of delivered customers who were out of gas.

· Driver delivery instructions are detailed and the ability to capture feedback is structured through a continuously improved shipment confirmation process.


Performance monitoring:

· Define performance status reports and analyze in co-operation with the Road Transport Manager.

· Verify and handle problems encountered with contractors (delivery times, quantities, customers not delivered, etc.).

· Identify problems, determine the related costs, and search for solutions.


Qualifications:

· OP Business Distribution experience, preferably with LPG exposure in logistic area.

· Sound understanding of the overall distribution and Order to Cash (OTC) chain and good knowledge of Distribution activities and its key issues.

· Strong analytical skills and some experience in planning / strategy related jobs.

· Must have a passion to achieve results and high drive and stamina to deliver.
