Currently, we are looking for an ambitious Senior Lawyer (Finance) to join our team for full-time employment in our beautiful office in New Belgrade who will provide comprehensive legal support to the company's financial operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and mitigating financial risks. The role plays a key part in supporting payment processes, managing relationships with financial partners, and strengthening AML/KYC and compliance frameworks in alignment with the company's strategic objectives.

As a Senior Lawyer (Finance) at our company, we expect you to be responsible for:

• Financial Flows & Transaction Structuring

• Structure and optimize intra-group financial flows, providing efficient legal solutions (e.g., service models, capital contributions, agency or other structures)
• Ensure legal compliance of actual cash flows, payment models, and business operations
• Develop and implement legally compliant financial schemes for settlements and intra-group transactions
• Identify legal risks in financial structures and propose practical solutions to mitigate them

• Financial Partners & Payments

• Advise on interactions with PSPs, banks, and payment systems (fiat and crypto)
• Participate in structuring and coordinating payment flows and settlement models
• Analyze and mitigate risks related to fund/account blocks
• Monitor operational issues and provide legal solutions for payment failures

• Licensing & Regulatory Compliance

• Analyze financial regulatory requirements across jurisdictions (reporting, licensing, etc.)
• Monitor regulatory changes and advise on necessary adjustments to financial structures for obtaining and maintaining licenses
• Collaboration with Finance Department
• Work closely with Finance and Payments teams on a daily basis
• Contribute to the design and implementation of financial and payment processes
• Provide practical legal support for ongoing financial operations
• Prepare legal documentation and materials for internal and external requests (banks, PSPs, auditors, partners)

• Compliance (AML/KYC)

• Ensure financial operations comply with AML/KYC requirements
• Identify compliance risks in financial flows and propose mitigation measures
• Support audits and regulatory interactions, focusing on financial processes

Required skills:

• Law degree
• 3–6 years of relevant legal experience
• Experience in iGaming, fintech, payments, or another regulated industry
• Experience with financial or payment-related contracts
• Understanding of AML/KYC and financial processes
• Strong English proficiency
• English language proficiency at B2 level or higher, both written and spoken

The following skills would be a plus:

• Experience working with PSPs, banks, or payment systems

• Understanding of card schemes (e.g., Visa, Mastercard) and their rules

• Experience with chargebacks and fraud-related matters

• Background in B2C iGaming companies

• Experience working with international markets
