In this role, you will collect, process, validate, send, and monitor important data. You will also communicate with colleagues responsible for checking and operating that data. This role is well suited for someone who is accurate, responsible, and comfortable working with data-heavy systems where mistakes are costly.

As a PHP Developer at our company, we expect you to be responsible for:

• Develop and maintain PHP/Symfony backend functionality

• Build reporting features for regulators

• Process large datasets efficiently

• Ensure strict data validation and integrity

• Support data collection and submission workflows

• Work with queues and background jobs for asynchronous processing

• Monitor logs and system health in Kibana

• Investigate issues related to data processing and delivery

• Communicate with internal stakeholders involved in regulatory operations

• Help ensure that systems are stable, accurate, and reliable

Required skills: 

• 3+ years of professional experience in PHP development

• Strong experience with PHP 8.4 and typed code

• 3+ years of experience with Symfony(or related)

• Strong SQL knowledge:

  • indexing

  • complex joins

  • window functions

• Experience with Doctrine, including optimization and batch processing

• Experience with message queues

• Experience supporting long-running background tasks

• Experience analyzing logs and monitoring systems in Kibana

• Strong attention to detail

• Good communication skills

• High level of responsibility for data accuracy and system reliability

• Good spoken and written English, sufficient to communicate clearly with stakeholders involved in regulatory and operational processes

Will be an advantage:

• Experience with regulatory or compliance-related systems

• Experience with data pipelines and high-load data processing

• Experience in systems where validation and correctness are business-critical
