Compensation: $100,000–$130,000+ (flexible for the right candidate)
About the Role
City Build Recruitment is partnering with a growing construction firm, to recruit a Project Manager as part of continued expansion. This position is currently not tied to a single project; rather, our client is seeking a capable and adaptable Project Manager who can step in and confidently manage projects as they come online.
This role is well suited to a mid- to senior-level Project Manager who is comfortable operating independently, managing multiple stakeholders, and navigating evolving project timelines within a dynamic construction environment.
Key Responsibilities
Projects: 50% Stip-Sum, and then the other half fluctuates with CM and Design Build

Lead construction projects from pre-construction through to closeout

Manage schedules, budgets, contracts, and consultant coordination

Work closely with Site Superintendents to ensure effective site execution

Communicate clearly with clients, consultants, trades, and internal teams

Identify and manage project risks, timelines, and deliverables

Coordinate with accounting on cost tracking, forecasting, and reporting

Contribute to continuous improvement of internal processes and workflows
Ideal Background & Experience
-
Mid- to senior-level Project Management experience in construction
-
Strong background in commercial and corporate interiors projects
-
Exposure to industrial and/or residential projects is considered an asset

Experience across a diverse range of project types strongly preferred

Ability to manage ambiguity, shifting priorities, and evolving scopes

Comfortable taking ownership of projects with minimal oversight
Reporting Structure

Reports to one of two senior operational Project Managers (company partners)

Day-to-day reporting may vary depending on project assignments

Formal structure in place for performance reviews and development

Compensation & Benefits

Target salary range: $110,000–$130,000
